2017 Twins Days Theme

To honor of the founding of Twinsburg in 1817 by identical twins Aaron and Moses Wilcox, this year the city and community of Twinsburg will celebrate its bicentennial! Twins Days wants to take this year to honor this historic occasion and to reflect on how the community has grown and changed, and all the places we have traveled and come from.

With this in mind we would also like to celebrate twins’ heritage by announcing this year’s Twins Days official slogan:

“Twins Days 2017—TwinCentennial”

This year, twins are encouraged to dress according to their country of origin, to show their state or city pride, or to represent their family heritage. For example, if your family is originally from France or Italy you can dress to represent this.

The bicentennial is not only a celebration of the history of Twinsburg, but also a celebration of twins too. So, showcase your national pride, and show our unity as a twin community no matter where in this world you are from!

Now, get going on those costumes! Twins Days 2017 will be here before you know it!

cavsThe Twins Days Festival Committee is proud to announce that the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers Championship Trophy will be on display at the 2016 Twins Days Festival on Sunday, August 7th. The Cleveland Cavaliers brought home the title in June, marking the city’s first major professional championship since the Browns won the NFL Championship in 1964!

Fans can pose for photos with the trophy on the festival Midway on Sunday between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

2014 Festival has closed

Another Twins Days Festival has come to a close.  It was another great year! The unofficial number of registered sets of twins and multiples was 1887 sets — bit short of last year’s total, but the threatening weather most likely kept many away.  Still, what an accomplishment.

There were easily a couple hundred sets of twins that attended, but didn’t register. Unfortunately, we don’t include those in our count. For those of you that attended, we hope you had a great time and will join us again in 2015, when Twins Days celebrates its 40th festival! Thank you to all that support us!

No Re/Max Balloons

The TDFC has just learned that the Re/Max hot-air balloons will not be able to make it to the Twins Days festival this year. We are naturally disappointed to lose this popular attraction, but are already working to have them back in 2008.
