I was just wondering if there is an official count yet for this year's festival?  Did the rain have any effect?

it usually takes a little while before the final count is posted.... the numbers were down a bit but were better than i thought they would be considering the economy and the weather sat.

Unofficial count is 1,867 Registered Sets .

Official count will be posted next week.

I was kidding, Nicole.  It was kind of rotten weather to be hanging out in - a number of people I talked to on Sunday said they didn't stick around on Saturday after the rain started... prompting a large amount of "what do I do if I ordered the Saturday group photo but decided to go to the Sunday photo session instead?" questions.

We stuck out the rain long enough to enter the boys in their contest.  Soon there after we left. The boys were crying that they were getting wet but it was a nice change to have some cooler weather Saturday instead of having to sweat it out.

Denny and I didn't hang out after it started raining.  We did get in the Sunday photo though.  And it sure was hot.  We did meet a lot sets where this was their first year, so that's encouraging.

Sue was ready to leave, but i told her since we had already paid for the picture i was going to be in it! lol i was assertive for once. but we left soon after that too.

We stayed until after the group photo on Saturday and then left.  I figured the count would probably be down because of the weather, but we all still had a great time and can't wait until next year. Cheesy

my twins had a great time . for rirst timers the meet alot of great people and have already started looking forward to next year. they said they would talk to other twins in the area also .
